Urban Casa 9 is a luxury furniture and dcor sourcing company connecting Indian homes, offices, and hospitality spaces with curated furniture from Foshan, China. We provide end-to-end support including virtual walkthroughs, factory visits, and delivery.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Chinese Translator to facilitate smooth communication with our suppliers and manufacturers in China. The ideal candidate will help Urban Casa 9 source, negotiate, and manage furniture and dcor projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate written and verbal communication between English/Hindi and Chinese (Mandarin).

Assist in negotiations and correspondence with manufacturers, suppliers, and artisans in Foshan.

Translate product specifications, catalogs, agreements, and factory documents accurately.

Coordinate with the Urban Casa 9 team to ensure clarity and precision in sourcing requirements.

Attend virtual meetings and factory walkthroughs, providing real-time translation as needed.

Ensure that all translations maintain the brand tone and technical accuracy.

Requirements:

Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, both written and spoken.

Prior experience in business translation, sourcing, or international trade preferred.

Understanding of furniture, dcor, and interior design terminology is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.
