GAJAN Group Holdings runs four e-commerce brands selling into North America, from Mohali and Toronto, alongside software and services businesses. The team is small. The work is real.

WHAT THIS JOB IS

You own the supply side of our brands, end to end. Finding and vetting Chinese suppliers on Alibaba, 1688 and beyond, negotiating prices and MOQs in writing, managing samples and quality checks, computing landed costs completely, choosing freight and incoterms, clearing customs paperwork, and managing orders through to delivery: tracking shipments, protecting delivery dates, and reporting the truth weekly. When a supplier slips or a shipment sticks at customs, you are the person who fixes it and the reason we knew early.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Find and vet Chinese suppliers: Alibaba, 1688, Made-in-China, factory relationships; verify before trusting

- Negotiate prices, MOQs, payment terms and samples in writing, and keep the written record

- Compute landed costs completely: unit, freight, duty, GST, payment fees, damage allowance

- Coordinate logistics: incoterms, freight forwarders, customs paperwork, sea and air decisions

- Manage orders end to end: shipment tracking, stock expectations, delay handling, delivery protection

- Run quality control: sample approval, pre-shipment checks, defect handling with suppliers

- Report weekly in numbers: orders in motion, landed margins, delays, and what changed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- You have personally sourced from China: real suppliers, real negotiations, real orders you can walk through on screen

- Landed cost fluency: if any line item is missing, the margin is fiction

- Logistics literacy: incoterms, freight forwarding, customs documents, and what to do when a shipment sticks

- Order discipline: delivery dates protected, delays flagged early, records true

- Written English strong enough to negotiate with suppliers daily

- Honest about what you have not done: we test for this
