Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Children's Books K-8 Copy Editor / Proofreader to join our team in New Delhi. The role involves reviewing and editing manuscripts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy tailored to K-8 educational content, ensuring text consistency and style alignment, and proofreading final drafts for publication readiness. Key responsibilities include collaborating with writers and illustrators, providing constructive editorial feedback, and maintaining a high standard of quality across all content.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Grammar, Proofreading, and Text Editing
• Editorial and Writing skills with an eye for detail
• Strong understanding of content tailored for K-8 education
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced environment in New Delhi
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Education, or a related field
• Prior experience with children's books or educational content is an advantage
• Familiarity with publishing workflows and style guides is a plus
