Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for a Child Psychology Intern, based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. Key responsibilities include assisting in psychological evaluations, supporting mental health interventions, and working closely with children in educational and therapeutic settings. Interns will engage in hands-on activities that contribute to the development and well-being of neurodiverse children. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and direct communication with families will also be essential to this role.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of Psychology and its application in child development
- Experience or understanding of Psychological Testing processes
- Familiarity with Mental Health practices related to children
- Strong Communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Interest or background in Education and child-focused development programs
- Empathy, patience, and a collaborative mindset
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred
