Profile: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in end-to-end execution of corporate office fit-out projects.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, milestones, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Track project costs, budgets, variations, and billing activities.
- Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documentation.
- Conduct site meetings and prepare MOMs (Minutes of Meeting).
- Identify project risks and support mitigation planning.
- Coordinate procurement, material delivery, and resource deployment.
- Support project handover, snag closure, and final documentation
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in Corporate Interior Fit-Out / Commercial Office Projects.
- Strong understanding of project execution, construction methodologies, and fit-out processes.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Experience in project planning, cost tracking, and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
