Job Description

Profile: Assistant Project Manager

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in end-to-end execution of corporate office fit-out projects.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules, milestones, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Track project costs, budgets, variations, and billing activities.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards.
  • Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Conduct site meetings and prepare MOMs (Minutes of Meeting).
  • Identify project risks and support mitigation planning.
  • Coordinate procurement, material delivery, and resource deployment.
  • Support project handover, snag closure, and final documentation

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 4–8 years of experience in Corporate Interior Fit-Out / Commercial Office Projects.
  • Strong understanding of project execution, construction methodologies, and fit-out processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
  • Experience in project planning, cost tracking, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
