Chief Technology Officer

We are seeking a highly-skilled Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a glorious history in the technological sector. You will be expected to represent the technological agenda in staff meetings, managing a technology budget, and making investments to align the company with their vision for its technical needs. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological development.

You will work directly under the CEO and will act as both a technology and business expert and actively participate in decision making for the current and future operations of the company as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Outlining the companys technological vision and effectively implementing technology strategies of competitive advantage
• Ensuring that technical resources are aligned with the companys short and long-term needs.
• Transitioning of existing technology investments & business processes to the next level
• Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
• Making executive decisions on behalf of the companys technological requirements.
• Mentoring team members to utilize their skills and be more productive.
• Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and spearheading projects to increase our market reach and improve our USP.
• Aiding in the delivery of IT projects to the market.
• Managing technology budgets and time frames.
• Staying on top of technology trends and developments.
• Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in computer science or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of working in a technological role.
• 5 years of managerial experience.
• Proven project management and organization skills.
• Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology.
• Good team management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to delegate efficiently.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
• Extensive industry knowledge with a futuristic eye.
