Role Overview -

This role is part of a large-scale OT Security Operations Centre (OT-SOC) program involving integration of cybersecurity systems across 300 substations and control centres. The environment includes SCADA, Substation Automation Systems (SAS), and IEC-61850-based networks, along with enterprise and OT security platforms.

The Chief Technology Officer will lead end-to-end technical delivery of the OT-SOC integration, managing a dedicated engineering team and ensuring seamless deployment of cybersecurity, infrastructure, and supporting applications.

Key Responsibilities -

• Lead and manage a team of 12 engineers for OT-SOC implementation.
• Own end-to-end integration delivery of SOC systems connected to substations and control centres.
• Drive design, validation, and deployment of cybersecurity technologies including:
• SIEM and Log Management
• IDS/NDR
• Endpoint Security (EDR, Anti-Virus, HIPS)
• Vulnerability Management
• Oversee integration of supporting software systems, including:
• Email servers
• Patch management systems
• Backup solutions
• Security and system management tools
• Ensure deployment and integration of infrastructure components, including:
• Servers and workstations
• Firewalls, routers, and switches
• OT network and security appliances
• Ensure compatibility with OT protocols (IEC-61850, Modbus, DNP3) and SCADA/SAS environments.
• Support engineering, testing, and commissioning phases of the project.
• Define security monitoring use cases, correlation rules, and detection strategies.
• Coordinate with OEMs, internal teams, and client stakeholders.
• Deliver all technical outcomes to the Project Manager (PM) within the project organization structure.

Qualifications -

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or Information Security.

Experience & Skills -

• 10+ years in OT/IT cybersecurity, SOC, or critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with SIEM, IDS/NDR, endpoint security, and vulnerability management tools.
• Familiarity with OT/ICS environments, SCADA, and substation systems.
• Knowledge of OT protocols (IEC-61850, Modbus, DNP3).
• Experience in managing teams and delivering large-scale, multi-location integration projects.
