Chief Technology Officer

I'm looking for a partner to help me take Evallo from a proven product to an industry standard. We've already hit some great milestoneswe've raised two pre-seed rounds in the past, crossed the paid PMF stage, and currently have 300+ subscriptions with 30+ paying customers so far.

Right now, we're automating tutoring businesses, but the plan is to scale this infrastructure for anyone who charges by the hourcoaches, consultants, therapists, and more. I've got the business and design side moving; I need you to take ownership of the entire tech stack.

The Reality of the Role

• It's a partnership, not a job: This is a founding role where you'll have a 10% to 15% equity stake. Last valuation of the company was 28 Crores so this is worth 2.8-4.2 Crores in share value.
• No salary for now: Since we are in the early traction phase, there is no cash compensation until we either raise our next round or hit monthly profitability.
• Full-time only: I need someone who is all-in. This isn't a side hustle or something to do on the weekends.
• You build the team: As the technical head of the company, you will have complete autonomy and decision making power in hiring devs of your choice.

What You'll Be Doing

• Hands-on Building: You'll be architecting and scaling our full-stack MERN product using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js
• Shipping Fast: We aren't in an R&D phase; we are in a build-and-deploy environment. You'll be turning Figma wireframes into live features quickly
• System Ownership: You'll handle all integrations like Google, Zoom, and Stripe, while keeping an eye on data structures, security, and performance

Who You Are

Experienced: You've got 5+ years of experience and have shipped real products before, ideally in SaaS.

Startup-Minded: You've probably been a founder, CTO, or founding engineer before and you understand the trade-offs required when resources are limited.

Independent: You don't need a roadmap. You are the roadmap.
