Job Description

Job Title: Technical Head / Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Location: Mohali, Punjab (On-site / Hybrid)

Department: Technology & Product Development

Reporting To: Founder / Managing Director

Employment Type: Full-Time

Budget : 18 LPA to 30 LPA

Role Overview:

The Technical Head (CTO) will serve as the strategic and operational leader for the company's entire

technology landscape. This role involves architecting and managing internal IT infrastructure, leading full-

scale product development (particularly in HealthTech), implementing cybersecurity frameworks, and

integrating AI/ML solutions to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will balance hands-on technical

execution with strategic leadership, guiding a team of developers, interns, and engineers to deliver scalable

digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Infrastructure & Ecosystem Development

Design, develop, and manage the organization's IT systems, including CRMs, internal portals, and

workflow automation tools.

Implement scalable architectures ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance.

Build and monitor cybersecurity frameworks aligned with business continuity plans.

2. Product Ownership & Platform Development

Lead the full lifecycle of the company's HealthTech platform and mobile application, from design to

deployment and optimization.

Ensure robust performance, scalability, and seamless integration with new technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, business, and operations) to align product goals

with strategic objectives.

3. AI/ML Integration

Integrate AI/ML-driven solutions such as chatbots, recommendation systems, and automation

tools.

Develop intelligent systems that enhance product capabilities and streamline internal processes.

Stay updated on emerging technologies in AI, NLP, and predictive analytics relevant to healthcare.

4. Leadership & Team Building

Build, mentor, and lead a technology team comprising freshers and interns, providing structured

training and technical guidance.

Maintain a hands-on leadership styleactively contributing to architecture, coding, and technical

problem-solving.

Foster a performance-oriented culture focused on learning, innovation, and accountability.

5. Innovation & Strategic Planning

Identify emerging technologies that could drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Collaborate with leadership to define and execute a long-term technology roadmap.

Champion a culture of experimentation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:

Educational Background:

B.Tech (mandatory) and preferably M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a

related discipline from a reputed institution.

Professional Experience

Proven experience as a CTO, Technical Head, or Senior Technology Lead, ideally within HealthTech,

SaaS, or AI-based ecosystems.

Demonstrated success in building and scaling technology infrastructure and leading development

teams.

Hands-on expertise in full-stack development, AI/ML implementation, and system architecture. Prior exposure to healthcare platforms or compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HL7, etc.) preferred.

Hands-on expertise in Django, Python, React JS, Next JS, Figma, React Native, Agora, and

PostgreSQL.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.

Strategic mindset with excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skillscapable of translating complex technical concepts into actionable

business insights.

Deep understanding of data privacy, security protocols, and modern software engineering

practices.

Passionate about technology-driven innovation and continuous learning.

Core Technical Areas:

CRM and process automation tools development

Web & mobile application architecture and deployment

AI/ML model creation for predictive analytics and NLP

Cloud infrastructure setup (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices

Cybersecurity frameworks and IT governance systems

Team Structure & Expectations:

The Technical Head will lead a dedicated in-house technology team that will initially comprise freshers and interns.

Hence, a hands-on approach to architecture, coding, and mentorship is essential.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to build systems from the ground up while training junior

developers to maintain and scale them effectively.
