Responsibilities
Role purpose Own BEO's technology and architecture, professionalize delivery (DORA metrics), ensure security & compliance, and scale the tech organization.
Responsibilities
Technology roadmap & architecture (cloud strategy, services/microservices, data strategy).
Lead and grow the engineering team (hiring, coaching, career paths).
Delivery & quality: CI/CD, testing strategy, observability, incident & problem management.
Security & compliance, risk & vendor management.
Budget and partner management (cloud costs, external vendors).
Close partnership with Product, Sales, and the executive team (OKRs, prioritization).
Desired Candidate Profile
Must haves
5 years as CTO in a similar or bigger company size; 10+ years total in tech leadership.
Proven team/platform scaling (e.g., >99.9% availability, faster time-to-market).
Deep cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers/orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions/GitLab CI), IaC (Terraform).
Security & compliance experience (audit readiness, policies, access management).
Strong org building, change management, and stakeholder communication (DE/EN).
Nice-to-haves
Experience with data/ML workloads, event-driven architectures, FinOps.
Certifications (e.g., AWS Professional; security leadership training).
