Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy & Vision
- Develop and execute a long-term technology strategy aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering and IT team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Product & Engineering Oversight
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of products, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
- Manage the product lifecycle in close collaboration with Product Management and Design.
- Infrastructure & Operations
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of all technology systems and infrastructure.
- Oversee DevOps, cloud architecture, data security, and IT operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals.
- Serve as a key technology advisor to stakeholders including investors, board members, and partners.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure technology compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role.
- Strong background in software engineering, systems architecture, and product development.
- Experience with modern tech stacks (e.g., cloud platforms like AWS/GCP, microservices, APIs, DevOps tools).
- Track record of scaling technology teams and systems in a growth-stage company.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management.
- Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex tech topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
