We are seeking applications for the position of Chief Resident Engineer - Underground for GC Pune Metro

Missions/Main Duties

  • Assists Deputy Project Director (Civil) in all civil works construction packages and reports to Project Director.
  • Responsible for conducting start-up meetings with Construction Contractors to decide on construction methodology and scheduling.
  • Conducts comprehensive reviews of contractor work progress and plans remedial measures if milestones are not likely to be achieved.
  • Leads the Construction Supervision Team to ensure quality, safety, and construction in accordance with approved designs and specifications.
  • Assists the Employer in coordinating with other parties, such as authorities, utility undertakers, or local residents, for smooth construction work.

Profile/Skills

  • Education qualification - Engineering Graduate
  • Years of experience - 20+ Years
  • Prior experience requirement - At least 1 similar metro project
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
  • Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decision and be a good troubleshooter.
