Job Description

We have been exclusively retained to hire a Chief Product Officer for our client. This critical global leadership role will lead the development, scaling, and localization of innovative digital products that empower entrepreneurs to grow. Based in Bangalore, you will collaborate with diverse teams and partners across regions to maximize the impact and reach of scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a focused global team for developing a portfolio of technology-enabled and service-oriented products
  • Define and manage the full product lifecyclefrom research and validation through scaling and continuous improvementwith a strong focus on measurable impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, technology, marketing, and field operations, to design differentiated, locally adaptable products that meet market and beneficiary needs
  • Use data-driven insights, market research, and field feedback to innovate and refine product offerings
  • Champion the integration of cutting-edge engagement approachessuch as gamification and AI-driven customizationto maximize product adoption and effectiveness
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders globally, managing by influence to deliver high-impact initiatives
  • Build and mentor a high-performing product team aligned with the mission

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years of proven experience leading product development and management in technology-enabled services, preferably with a focus on entrepreneurship, SMBs, or emerging markets.
  • Strong ability to synthesize market data, user feedback, and ecosystem trends into acan tionable, scalable product roadmaps.
  • History of managing full product lifecycles and go-to-market strategies in dynamic environments.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-evolving contexts with multiple global stakeholders.
  • Passion for leveraging innovative technology to drive social impact and transform traditional learning and business enablement models.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a collaborative mindset, capable of inspiring diverse teams across geographies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in skilling, edtech ecosystems is highly desirable
  • Background in developing products incorporating AI/customization or other new engagement models
