We're looking for a visionary Chief Product Engineerto lead the development and scaling of Crunchy Sip's core edible product line. This role sits at the intersection of food science, engineering, and creativity ideal for someone who thrives on experimentation and innovation in food technology. You'll own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept formulation to production readiness and help shape the foundation of a category-defining product.
Key Responsibilities- Lead R&Dfor Crunchy Sip's edible product line and drive technical innovations.
- Develop, refine, and optimize product formulations for stability, texture, and taste.
- Collaborate closely with the founder and cross-functional teams to translate ideas into scalable processes.
- Build and manage a small technical team as production scales.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Oversee technical documentation, trials, and continuous product improvement.
What We're Looking For- Strong background in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in R&D / NPD (New Product Development) preferably in baked, snack, or confectionery products.
- Understanding of food machinery compatibility and production-scale transitions.
- Hands-on mindsetwith a knack for problem-solving and experimentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and ownership skills.
