The Training & Placement Officer will play a strategic role in strengthening industry engagement and driving successful campus placements across JIIT. The role involves building strong corporate partnerships, managing end-to-end recruitment processes, and aligning student talent with evolving industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners across sectors
- Drive end-to-end placement and internship processes, including PPO conversions
- Plan and execute placement calendars, recruitment drives, and hiring workflows
- Analyse placement data and prepare reports for strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with faculty and departments to align student readiness with industry needs
- Ensure compliance, transparency, and smooth execution of all placement activities
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in Training & Placement, HR, or Talent Acquisition
- Strong industry network and corporate engagement experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in data analysis, MIS tools, and placement systems
- Strategic mindset with ability to manage multi-stakeholder environments
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Management, Engineering, or related fields
