About PYAAS

PYAAS is a DPIIT-recognized, FSSAI-licensed dairy startup building full traceability into India's milk supply chain. We connect city families directly with named farmers and farms, and every pack carries a QR code that shows where the milk came from, its composition, the safety checks it passed, and how it was handled.

We source from select family farms in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, and onboard each farm only after thorough on-site evaluation and testing. Today we offer single-farm and family-farm milk to founding families in Lucknow, small-batch Bilona cow ghee across India, and we serve as Parag's appointed digital storefront in select Lucknow localities. Our Android and iOS app, backed by the PYAAS Digital Agent Network (P-DAN), brings ordering, delivery, and neighborhood-level service together through local milkmen and shop owners.

The Role

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to run day-to-day operations and build the systems that let PYAAS grow in Lucknow and beyond. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, working closely with the founding team.

What you will do

Own operations end to end: sourcing, production, logistics, tech-enabled delivery, and customer service
Design and refine processes for farm onboarding, quality assurance, and traceability, in line with regulatory requirements and our transparency standards
Set operational KPIs, track performance, and drive continuous improvement
Make sure doorstep delivery is reliable and on time, every day
Manage relationships with farmers, digital agents, and partners to strengthen the supply chain
Work with the founders on business planning, cost optimization, and capacity scaling
Build, lead, and mentor the operations team, and set up reporting that gives everyone a clear picture of how the business is running

What we are looking for

Strong business planning skills, including strategic planning, growth forecasting, and building long-term operational roadmaps
Hands-on operations experience across supply chain, production, last-mile delivery, and process improvement
Comfort with data: reading operational numbers, tracking KPIs, and making decisions based on evidence
Finance and budgeting ability to manage costs, allocate resources, and keep growth profitable
Proven experience leading diverse teams and working across functions
Clear communication and the ability to work just as well with farmers and local agents as with urban customers
Experience in FMCG, dairy, agriculture, or early-stage startups is a strong plus
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred
