Role Description - Chief Officer / Mate NCV -RORO experience

The Chief Mate NCV with RORO vessel experience will oversee deck operations and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Key responsibilities include managing crew activities, conducting regular equipment inspections, assisting in navigation duties, and maintaining legal documentation. This is a contract-based, on-site role located in Mumbai, requiring close collaboration with port and vessel teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with RORO vessel experience, harbor towage, pilotage operations is a big advantage
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and compliance procedures
• Experience in team leadership, crew coordination, and onboard personnel training
• Proficiency in maritime navigation systems and emergency response procedures
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Valid Chief Mate NCV certification and relevant training
• Physical fitness and readiness to work in a demanding on-site maritime environment
