Part II – Key Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities

  • Complete market research and industry analysis (Size, growth, SWOT, PESTLE, 5 forces)
  • Identify key competitors and perform competition analysis (3-5 players)
  • Study audited financials for past 3-5 years and prepare financial projections for 5-10 years
  • Compute return on investment and payback period for deal viability
  • Evaluate Best Case, Base case, Worst case scenarios and the impact on profitability
  • Study the DD report, valuation reports, share observations and get clarifications wherever required
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and executive summaries for decision-making
  • Help structure deals and track progress of discussions and negotiations.
  • Coordinate with the legal/ financial experts for documentation and registration purpose.
  • Assist in deal finalization with complete documentation
  • Study the investment opportunities, business proposal, feasibility report
  • Highlight the open inquiries, identify the reasons and communicate to get it resolved
  • Meeting with purchase and export departments for execution and planning of open orders
  • Study open inquiries, open PFI s, pending orders and delayed shipments as per ERP
  • Study margins on sales for international and regular buyers every month
  • Compare exhibitions costs and travel spends with revenue generated from them (ROI)
  • Prepare Monthly review meeting summary with main KPI's for all departments along with analysis
  • Create and analyze feedback reports from buyers and suppliers
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to assist business function and submit insights
  • Undertake adhoc requests relevant to business performance and finances
  • Audit of all the investment documents, compute total investments with returns, suggest best cases
