The
Chief of Staff acts as a strategic partner and force multiplier to the
Head of Development centre (DC). You will drive the organizational rhythm, oversee cross-functional strategic initiatives, and ensure the leadership team is aligned on key business priorities. This role is designed for a high-potential leader who can navigate a complex matrix organization and translate high-level vision into actionable roadmaps. Key Responsibilities
- Operating Rhythm: Design and manage the Heartbeat of the DC including leadership meetings, town halls, and business reviews ensuring meetings are productive and outcomes are tracked.
- Special Projects: Spearhead high-impact, cross-functional projects that don't naturally fall into one specific department (e.g. Site-wide productivity initiatives, or organizational restructuring).
- Business Planning: Support DC Strategy Head in driving the annual and quarterly strategic planning cycles, ensuring alignment with global Siemens Healthineers Business Areas / Lines and Functions.
- Global-Local Link: Act as the primary point of contact between the DC and global headquarters in Germany, ensuring smooth communication and reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Represent the Head of DC in internal and external forums; manage relationships with functional heads (HR, Finance, IT, and R&D).
- Decision Support: Synthesize complex data and qualitative feedback into concise briefings, helping the Head of DC make informed, rapid decisions.
- Performance Tracking: Work with Finance and HR to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as talent retention, project delivery milestones, and operational budgets.
- Culture & Communications: Partner with Corporate Communications to draft executive narratives, key internal announcements, and leadership messaging that reinforces the Siemens Healthineers values.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve blockers across the organization, stepping in to mediate conflicts or address delivery risks before they escalate.
Required Skills & Experience
- MBA from a premier institute or equivalent advanced degree in Engineering/Healthcare Management.
- 10–15 years of experience, ideally with a background in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Program Management within a large MNC.
- Strong understanding of the MedTech landscape, Healthcare Industry or Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
- High proficiency in executive-level storytelling (PowerPoint) and data-driven modelling. Familiarity with AI tools for productivity is a significant plus.
