Role Summary:
backbone of the organization. This role goes beyond advisory responsibilitiesthe CMO will work closely with product design, hardware innovation, regulatory, marketing, sales, and research teams to ensure clinical relevance, safety, credibility, and adoption of Janitri's solutions.
The CMO will translate real-world obstetric needs into product strategy, guide clinical studies, and ensure Janitri's offerings resonate with clinicians, hospitals, and healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall clinical leadership and act as the clinical authority for Janitri's products and initiatives.
- Work closely with product design and hardware teams to guide clinical requirements, workflows, usability, and safety of devices and software.
- Support regulatory and quality teams with clinical inputs for risk assessment, labeling, clinical evaluations, and regulatory submissions.
- Oversee clinical studies, pilots, and post-market follow-ups, ensuring scientific, ethical, and regulatory rigor.
- Enable marketing and sales teams with strong clinical positioning, messaging, demos, and clinician-facing discussions.
- Represent Janitri in interactions with hospitals, clinicians, research partners, and key stakeholders.
- Build internal clinical understanding by training and guiding cross-functional teams.
Qualifications & Experience- MBBS with MD / DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Registered medical practitioner in India.
- Clinical experience as an OBGYN (years of experience flexible; relevance and depth matter more than number).
- Strong interest or experience in medical devices, digital health, or healthcare innovation.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional, non-clinical teams in a startup environment.
- Clear communication skills and strong clinical judgment.
- Experience with clinical research or device evaluation is a plus.
