Job Summary

Sotbella is looking for a dynamic and result-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the overall brand, marketing, and growth strategy for the business. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in fashion, retail, or e-commerce and should be capable of building a powerful brand presence across digital and offline channels.

The CMO will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, brand awareness, revenue growth, campaign performance, influencer collaborations, social media strategy, and overall marketing effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing and branding strategy for Sotbella
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives including performance marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media
  • Build strong brand positioning and ensure consistent communication across all channels
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty strategies
  • Plan and manage online and offline marketing campaigns to increase sales and visibility
  • Work closely with the creative, content, merchandising, and sales teams for campaign execution
  • Manage influencer marketing, celebrity collaborations, PR activities, and media partnerships
  • Monitor marketing budgets and optimize ROI across all channels
  • Analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Lead the website and marketplace marketing strategy for better traffic and conversions
  • Build, mentor, and manage the marketing team
  • Identify new growth opportunities, partnerships, and business expansion ideas

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • MBA in Marketing preferred
  • 10–15 years of marketing experience, with at least 4–5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of fashion, apparel, retail, and e-commerce marketing
  • Hands-on experience in performance marketing, branding, PR, and customer growth strategies
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in managing large-scale campaigns and marketing budgets
  • Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Google Ads, CRM tools, and marketing automation platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment

Preferred Background

  • Candidates from fashion, B2C, beauty, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands will be preferred
  • Strong fashion industry background is mandatory
  • Candidates with prior experience in apparel, women's wear, luxury fashion, or fashion accessories brands will be highly preferred
  • Prior experience in scaling a brand through digital-first marketing strategies will be an added advantage
