Key Responsibilities
Position Overview
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a senior strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and public relations (PR) strategy. This role drives growth, brand equity, and market positioning, encompassing oversight of digital marketing, communications, and PR. The CMO will lead a high-performing marketing team to build a strong brand presence in the higher education sector, aligning all efforts with Regenesys overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
oDrive marketing performance, enhancing brand sentiment, alumni engagement, and public reputation.
oLead corporate communications and PR to manage Regenesys reputation, including media relations, brand positioning, and public sentiment monitoring.
oDevelop and implement PR initiatives such as press releases, media outreach, and crisis communication to strengthen brand visibility and trust.
2.Management
oOversee budget and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
oSet and monitor strategic KPIs across marketing and PR, evaluating impact and adjusting strategies as needed.
oDirect cross-functional collaboration, aligning PR and communication efforts with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging.
oDrive innovation in communications and PR, adapting strategies to respond to shifts in the media landscape and proactively managing reputation.
3.Leading a High-Performing Marketing and PR Team
oDevelop and implement a cohesive marketing and PR strategy to support Regenesys growth, focusing on sustainable brand health and loyalty.
oManage talent acquisition, training, and performance management within the marketing and PR teams.
oFoster a culture of creativity and responsiveness, equipping the team to handle media inquiries, brand campaigns, and internal communications effectively.
4.Stakeholder Engagement and Communications
oBuild and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including media, alumni, industry bodies, and government agencies.
oGuide internal communications strategies to ensure alignment with brand values and keep employees informed of key initiatives.
oAct as a spokesperson and brand ambassador as needed, representing Regenesys at events and in media interactions.
2Minimum Qualifications
Educational Background: A graduate qualification in Marketing, with a preference for a Master's degree or MBA.
Experience Requirements:
o10+ years in marketing management, ideally within the Professional Services, Services, or Higher Education sectors.
o At least 5 years of experience specifically in Communications and Public Relations, with a proven record in managing brand reputation and media relationships.
o Expertise in managing an integrated marketing team that collaborates closely with Sales, Product Development, and PR functions.
