Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Proeze (Chennai)

Location: Chennai

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Agency Growth Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall agency growth strategy to scale Proeze in domestic and international markets.
  • Build long-term business plans, service expansion strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that enhance revenue, profitability, and brand reputation.
  • Create frameworks for new market entry, service diversification, and operational scalability.

2. Budget Planning & Allocation

  • Own the end-to-end marketing budget planning and allocation for internal and client projects.
  • Optimize budgets across performance marketing, brand campaigns, content, and growth initiatives.
  • Monitor spend efficiency and ensure maximum ROI across all marketing activities.

3. Client Acquisition & Business Growth

  • Build and execute a client acquisition strategy focused on high-value accounts.
  • Lead marketing-driven demand generation, lead funnels, and outreach initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to improve proposals, pitch strategies, and conversion rates.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue channels.

4. Digital Marketing & Performance Excellence

  • Oversee SEO, SEM, social, paid ads, content, automation, and analytics teams for high-quality delivery.
  • Implement advanced digital frameworks, AI-powered optimization, and growth playbooks.
  • Ensure client marketing strategies deliver strong performance and retention.

5. Brand Building & Positioning

  • Strengthen Proeze's brand identity, digital presence, and market credibility.
  • Drive thought leadership, PR, awards, and industry recognition.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and storytelling across channels.

6. Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead cross-functional teams across marketing, content, creative, performance, and growth.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop high-performing talent across the agency.
  • Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

7. Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Build dashboards, KPIs, and performance measurement systems for real-time insights.
  • Make informed decisions backed by analytics, forecasting, and competitive intelligence.

8. Operational & Process Excellence

  • Improve processes, delivery frameworks, and operational efficiency across teams.
  • Implement tools and workflows for better productivity, client communication, and project management.
  • Ensure quality control and on-time delivery across all marketing outputs.
