Responsibilities of the job holder

1. To assist the team in monthly, quarterly and annual closing, and accounting for product set up
2. To have fair knowledge of IND AS
3. Liaison with Statutory Auditors and Internal Auditors
4. Identify areas for process improvements / automations and implementation. Modify existing and design new processes that maximize efficiency
5. Accounting for premium, commission, expenses, claims and assisting team for Financial Reporting as per I GAAP and IFRS

Fair knowledge of IND AS Reporting Standards, Accounting and understanding of Life Insurance Accounts,

Hands on in Oracle/SAP accounting package.

Proficiency in MS Excel, word, power point
