Job Overview

Responsible for delivering all engineering projects across the site including infrastructure, Formulations, Packaging, Site Utilities and Facilities.

Key Stakeholders: Internal

Manufacturing , Supply Chain, Quality, EHS

Key Stakeholders: External

Vendor, Consultant, Auditors

Reporting Structure

General Manager - Corporate Projects

Experience

About 12-15 years

Relevant and demonstrable experience of project engineering in a fast paced environment, ideally within the Pharmaceutical or Chemical Sector.

Experience of Infrastructure modifications including civil refurbishment and mechanical & electrical services installation & modification.

Project Validation experience

Experience of successfully managing capital expenditure projects

Key Responsibility

  • Works autonomously and make decisions with limited guidance.
  • Works with external engineering consultants and driving design deliverables to the agreed dates from the consultant.
  • Reviewing & issuing tenders whilst ensuring they align with the project scope of works and customer requirements.
  • Preparing tender evaluations, liaising with purchasing and driving order placement.
  • Pro-actively expedites orders and responds to Post Tender Questions through liaison with Key project stake holders as required.
  • Supervises site installations and commissioning works.
  • Drives validation activities.
  • Develops concept engineering proposals & budget costings.
  • Develops and agrees engineering user requirements & scope of works with both internal & external clients.
  • Prepares project estimates based on the user requirements & scope developed for projects.
  • Oversees cost control of project budgets once approved.
  • Prepares project programs and monitors progress against milestones.
  • Participating into validation process for facility readiness

Qualifications

Bachelore of Degree Engineering in Electrical/Instrumentation
