Job Description

The CIO will play a critical leadership role in aligning IT initiatives with business strategy across the Group company's operations in manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, and supply chain. Working closely with the top management, this role will drive digital transformation, ensure IT operational excellence, enhance customer experience through technology, and support scalable enterprise platforms such as ERP, DMS, WMS, CRM, and Data Analytics.

Strategic IT Leadership

  • Define, own, and execute the enterprise IT and digital transformation strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Partner with the Board, CEO, and C-suite leaders to drive technology-enabled business transformation.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across global supply chain, manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce.
  • Own IT planning, capital allocation, and budgeting with clear ROI and value realization.
  • Establish multi-year technology roadmaps covering core platforms, innovation, and modernization.

IT Operations and Governance

  • Provide end-to-end accountability for IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and compliance across the enterprise.
  • Establish and govern IT service delivery models, ensuring SLA adherence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure robust Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities.
  • Lead enterprise IT audits, risk management programs, and cybersecurity posture enhancement.
  • Define and enforce IT governance frameworks, standards, and policies across regions.

Digital Transformation and Innovation

  • Sponsor and drive Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory programs including IoT, AI, robotics, and predictive analytics.
  • Enable omnichannel retail and superior customer experience through POS, CRM, loyalty, and digital engagement platforms.
  • Promote innovation culture through emerging technologies such as AI/ML, RPA, cloud, and advanced analytics.
  • Evaluate and scale pilots into enterprise-grade solutions delivering measurable business outcomes.

ERP, SCM & Data Analytics

  • Provide executive ownership of enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalents.
  • Ensure seamless integration between ERP and operational systems including MES, DCS, WMS, and DMS.
  • Establish enterprise-wide data governance, master data management, and data security practices.
  • Build and scale enterprise data lakes, BI dashboards, and advanced analytics for executive decision support.

IT Procurement and Vendor Management

  • Own the IT procurement strategy including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure effective IT asset lifecycle management and license compliance.
  • Drive vendor performance management, cost optimization, and innovation sourcing.

People and Change Management

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing global IT organization.
  • Develop leadership capability, succession planning, and workforce upskilling.
  • Champion enterprise change management for digital programs to ensure adoption and value realization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Competencies

  • Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, shop-floor digitization, logistics, and Ecommerce /B2B/B2C retail models.
  • Proven executive leadership and large-scale program management experience.
  • Strong expertise in ERP (SAP, DataTex), IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to align technology strategy to enterprise goals.
  • Executive-level communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.

Educational Background and Skills
