Job Description

Chief Information Officer (CIO)

The CIO is a senior executive responsible for leading the company's global technology strategy, operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives. Based in India, this role will drive a modern, scalable, and secure IT organization that supports business growth, operational excellence, and client success across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global IT strategy, roadmap, and governance framework aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead a globally distributed IT organization, including onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams.
  • Build and optimize a scalable offshore IT delivery model focused on quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Oversee enterprise applications, infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms, and technology operations.
  • Drive cloud transformation, application modernization, platform consolidation, and reduction of technical debt.
  • Champion AI, automation, analytics, and innovation initiatives to improve productivity and enhance client offerings.
  • Own cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery programs.
  • Partner with business leaders to enable growth, improve service delivery, and support client onboarding and operations.
  • Manage IT budgets, investment priorities, vendor relationships, and technology partnerships while balancing innovation and cost optimization.

Required Experience

  • Proven CIO or senior IT leadership experience within a large, global, services-driven organization.
  • Experience leading global technology teams across multiple geographies, including significant offshore delivery operations.
  • Demonstrated success building or transforming enterprise-scale IT operating models supporting 50,000+ employees or comparable complexity.
  • Strong expertise in cloud technologies, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, data platforms, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Track record of driving business growth, operational efficiency, and client outcomes through technology leadership.
  • Experience in BPO, professional services, or technology-enabled services environments is strongly preferred.
