In agricultural commodities, Sharma Agrovolt trades bulk products such as wheat, maize, cotton, and moong, focusing on accurate weighment, fair quality assessment, and timely payment to build trust with processors and bulk buyers. Incorporated in 2026 and based in Pansemal, District Barwani, Madhya Pradesh, the company is positioned for growth in both renewable power and agri-trade sectors.
Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Pansemal, responsible for overseeing all financial activities across the power and agricultural commodities businesses. The CFO will manage financial planning and budgeting, supervise preparation of financial statements, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring cash flow, optimizing capital structure, evaluating project investments, and implementing robust financial controls and risk management frameworks. The CFO will lead the finance team, establish policies and procedures, support contract negotiations and pricing decisions, and collaborate closely with senior leadership on strategic planning, funding, and long-term growth initiatives. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements in India.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance, with experience in corporate finance, capital allocation, and investment analysis.
• Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-term strategic financial modeling.
• Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for evaluating projects, assessing business performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent, with several years of senior finance leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing finance functions in infrastructure, energy, commodities, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of Indian taxation, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements relevant to power and agri-commodity businesses.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, establish internal controls, and work closely with founders and board members.
