LOUD is India's first unapologetic period brand built to challenge generational silence around menstruation while creating access, equity, and conscious product choices for women across India. LOUD operates at the intersection of consumer, community, and social impact, with active deployments across colleges, institutions, and grassroots networks.
We are now building the core founding team to scale responsibly and sustainably.
Role Overview
LOUD is looking for a Founding Finance Lead to join the company at an early stage and work directly with the Founder. This role is designed for someone who wants to build the financial backbone of a purpose-led brand from day one, not simply manage accounts.
At this stage, the role is equity-based, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership position as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Build and own LOUD's financial model, forecasts, and unit economics
- Define pricing, margin structures, and cost controls across D2C, B2B, and institutional channels
- Support strategic decision-making with data-backed financial insights
Governance & Compliance
- Set up clean financial systems, controls, and reporting structures
- Oversee statutory compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with legal and accounting partners
Fundraising & Capital Readiness
- Prepare LOUD for fundraising (pitch decks, financial narratives, data rooms)
- Evaluate funding options, including grants, CSR partnerships, angels, and institutional capital
- Support investor conversations alongside the Founder
Operational Finance
- Track cash flow, burn rate, and working capital needs
- Build scalable processes for vendor payments, collections, and budgeting
- Ensure financial discipline while enabling growth
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in finance, accounting, strategy, or operations
- Experience with startups, scale-ups, consulting, or corporate finance is preferred
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and building systems from scratch
- High integrity, ownership mindset, and long-term orientation
- Alignment with LOUD's mission around menstrual equity and social impact
Compensation
- Equity-based role at this stage
- Opportunity to become a long-term core leader as LOUD scales
- Meaningful ownership in building a category-defining brand
