Chief Financial Officer

Role Overview - CA MANDATORY

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the Finance function for a leading organisation operating in the Logistics, Ports, Maritime & EPC sectors. The CFO will be responsible for driving financial strategy, business performance, treasury, governance, risk management and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Finance, Accounts, Treasury, Taxation, FP&A, MIS and Audit functions.
• Develop and execute the organisation's overall financial strategy.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and working-capital optimisation.
• Oversee fund raising, debt management, banking relationships and capital structure.
• Evaluate CAPEX, infrastructure investments, expansion projects and EPC projects.
• Monitor project-wise CAPEX utilisation, cost overruns, cash flows and profitability.
• Drive OPEX optimisation, cost controls and operational efficiency.
• Drive cost optimisation, profitability improvement and financial efficiency.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance, statutory compliance and risk management.
• Oversee taxation, GST, audits and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the MD/CEO and Board.
• Partner with business and operations teams on commercial and financial decisions.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, regulators and other key stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Finance team.

Candidate Profile

• CA qualification is mandatory.
• 18–25 years of overall experience, with significant experience in senior Finance leadership roles.
• Candidates from Logistics, Ports, Maritime, Shipping, EPC, Infrastructure, Construction or Terminals preferred.
• Strong experience in asset-heavy/project-driven businesses.
• Experience in managing large-scale P&L and financial operations.
• Should have worked closely with MD/CEO/Board and handled senior stakeholder relationships.
• Strong commercial orientation, strategic thinking and leadership capabilities
