We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and manage the entire finance function of the organization. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 15+ years of progressive experience, preferably within the real estate or infrastructure sector, and will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, strategy, compliance, and business growth support.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business goals
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and MIS
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization
Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Lead debt and equity fundraising initiatives
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors
- Structure project financing and optimize capital structure
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance norms
- Oversee audits (internal, statutory, and regulatory)
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
Project & Cost Control
- Monitor project budgets, cost control, and profitability analysis
- Ensure financial discipline across multiple residential projects
- Support land acquisition decisions through financial due diligence
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team
- Implement best practices, systems, and controls for scalability
Key Requirements
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
- Experience: Minimum 15+ years in finance, with mandatory significant exposure to real estate
- Proven experience in fundraising, project finance, and financial strategy
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, taxation, and compliance
- Leadership experience managing large finance teams
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
