As a highly successful and innovative company in the plastics processing industry, the swissplast® group employs over 180 people across its five sites in Switzerland, Bavaria, Thuringia and Austria. We have a flat organisational structure, which enables a direct, rapid decision-making processes, which is not hierarchical but clearly market- and process-oriented.
To support this planned rapid growth, a management team is being established at group level. We are therefore looking for a candidate with a passion for finance and a hands-on approach to join us as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation of all financial accounting and cost accounting processes in an international environment
- Oversee financial operations for multiple legal entities
- Take strategic responsibility for financial and production controlling processes, with a strong focus on SAP FI/CO, including continuous optimization
- Optimize production costs by implementing and monitoring efficient controlling systems using SAP FI/CO to enable accurate cost analysis and improve profitability
- Ensure transparency and traceability of cost structures across the entire production value chain
- Lead the finance department and collaborate closely with production management to create synergies between operational and financial processes
- Develop business cases for investments, conduct cost analyses, and support decision-making
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning in alignment with operational activities
- Work closely with external stakeholders such as investors, banks, and auditors, ensuring transparent financial reporting
- Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Switzerland, Germany & Austria)
- Coordinate revenue, cost center, and project reporting
- Provide key performance indicators (KPIs) to executive management
- Drive conceptual development in financial and costing processes, including implementation in IT systems
- Lead, mentor, and develop a well-established team
- Act as head of financial accounting (FIBU)
Your Profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a related field
- Several years of experience in finance and accounting within an industrial environment, including financial statements and production controlling
- Proven leadership experience, strong initiative, and a structured working approach with a team-oriented mindset
- Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO and MS Office
- Entrepreneurial, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking and acting
- Experience in leading teams and implementing efficient financial systems, particularly SAP FI/CO-based solutions
- Pragmatic and efficient approach to processes with a focus on continuous improvement
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- German skills are preferred (written and spoken)
