Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Jaipur, responsible for overseeing all financial strategy and operations at 121 Finance Pvt. Ltd. The CFO will manage financial planning and budgeting, monitor cash flow, and ensure optimal capital allocation to support growth in MSME trade credit solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting and statements, ensuring regulatory and RBI compliance, managing risk and internal controls, and providing data-driven insights to the executive team and board. The CFO will lead the finance team, collaborate with business, credit, and technology functions, and support strategic initiatives such as new products, partnerships, and digital finance platforms. This role is expected to establish robust financial governance, refine performance metrics, and contribute to long-term strategic planning and investor relations.

Qualifications

  • Should be a qualified CA (Chartered Accountant)
  • Strong foundation in Finance, including experience in NBFCs, fintech, or banking environments, and deep understanding of trade credit and MSME financing.
  • Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, including long-term financial modeling, scenario analysis, and capital allocation.
  • Expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with a track record of accurate, timely reporting and adherence to regulatory and accounting standards.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, assessing portfolio performance, managing risk, and supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring finance teams, with strong stakeholder management and clear, effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management, compliance, and internal controls, preferably within RBI-regulated entities.
