About Bonville Foods

Bonville Foods Pvt. Ltd. is an established food manufacturing company specializing in premium peanut butter production for B2B and export markets. Since 2014, we've built strong relationships with buyers across 12+ countries supplying private label and contract manufacturing solutions.

Operating from our manufacturing facility in Gujarat's Morbi region, we employ 35-50 team members—predominantly women from surrounding rural communities—reflecting our commitment to inclusive growth and local empowerment.

Bonville is also the parent company of Heeva, a growing FMCG brand in healthy snacking (Makhana, Peanut Butter, Muesli), distributed through quick commerce and e-commerce channels.

The Role

We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead Bonville Foods operations, commercial strategy, and organizational transformation. The founder is transitioning to a Chairman/strategic role, and we need an experienced operator to take full P&L ownership of the manufacturing and export business.

This is an operational leadership role for someone who can:

  • Stabilize and strengthen Bonville's core B2B/export business in the face of increasing competition
  • Drive commercial excellence—pricing discipline, customer acquisition, margin improvement
  • Professionalize operations, tighten financial controls, and implement performance management systems
  • Build and lead a functional leadership team (operations, sales, finance, supply chain)

The Challenge:

Bonville has strong manufacturing capabilities and established export relationships, but faces headwinds from competitors and needs operational rigor to defend margins and market share. We're looking for someone who thrives in fix-it-first, grow-it-next environments.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership

  • Own and execute revenue strategy for B2B/export business (peanut butter manufacturing)
  • Rebuild sales pipelines, strengthen buyer relationships, and pursue new export market opportunities
  • Lead pricing strategy and contract negotiations to improve realization and margins
  • Identify opportunities in trade policy changes (e.g., EU-India FTA) to enhance competitiveness

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations: production planning, quality control, capacity utilization
  • Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency without compromising product quality
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (FSSAI, export certifications, food safety standards)
  • Implement MIS and reporting systems for data-driven decision-making

Financial Management

  • Full P&L ownership with accountability for profitability and cash flow
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and capital allocation
  • Analyze unit economics across product lines and customer segments
  • Explore government incentive schemes (PMFME, PLI) to support growth investments

Team & Organization Building

  • Build, mentor, and hold accountable a high-performing leadership team
  • Establish clear KPIs, performance management, and accountability frameworks
  • Foster a culture of operational discipline while preserving our values of inclusion and empowerment
  • Report to the Chairman/Board and collaborate with the Heeva consumer brand team (as needed)
What We're Looking For

Must-Have:

  • 10+ years in senior operational roles (CEO, COO, General Manager) in food manufacturing, FMCG, or B2B contract manufacturing
  • Proven experience stabilizing and turning around businesses facing competitive or operational challenges
  • Strong P&L management: track record of improving margins, controlling costs, and driving profitability
  • Deep understanding of export markets, buyer relationships, and international trade dynamics
  • Hands-on operator comfortable with production, supply chain, and quality management
  • Financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and unit economics

  • Commercial mindset: You know how to win in competitive B2B markets through pricing, service, and relationships
  • Builder of teams and systems: You've professionalized founder-led or family businesses before

  • Cultural fit: You lead with respect in a manufacturing environment with a majority-women, rural workforce

Preferred:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Experience managing regulatory compliance (FSSAI, APEDA, export licenses)
  • Familiarity with government schemes for food processing sector
  • Background in peanut butter, nut processing, or protein-based food manufacturing
