Job Aim:
To provide comprehensive facility, contract, and procurement management with a focus on continuous improvement for the respective facilities. To achieve financial and other KPIs established by the Client. The City Chief Engineer must be a team player and work with other members of the team to meet all key performance indicators as set out in the management contract

Responsibilities
Operations Delivery
- Oversee overall Engineering operation
- Focus on Back to Basics program
- Focus onJLL objectives for the year.
- Meeting the KPI Scores
- Manage escalations / Incidents
- Ensure accurate financial management/Capex budget.
- Proactive maintenance, meeting CEM requirements within timeframe and aligning team with operations procedure.
- Ensure consistency of policies & procedures by constant updating, implementing, complying with and audit all internal management systems for quality assurance
- Responsible for working of all technology tools
- Focus on sustainability projects
- Responsible for overall compliance
- Focus and keep updates on large scale initiatives
- Random facility walk through /surprise checks to support improvement.
- Support client walk through whenever required.
- Oversee and support on ground team for all certification & other audits
Expansion/Go live
- Overall planning /transition/Go live
- Ensure/oversee closure on project snag
- Consolidation of facilities (Dispositions)
Procurement/ Vendor Management
- Evaluating the vendor performances/management practices and timely WC & and invoicing
- Risk Management
- Implementation of escalations procedures, risk management program, integrity of all system and audit data
- Implement, maintain and test BCP
- Observe for incidents and report problems
Initiatives
- Developing initiatives and strategies to improve services
Reporting/Monthly reviews
- Develop necessary reports, quarterly/yearly objectives, regular zone meetings
- Monthly management review/ various other activities/events
- Assist in the budgeting and recommit process including reviews
People Management/Training
- Assign buddies for new team members and train team on facility policies, procedures & systems.
- Working with JLL senior account team to devise innovative methods of skill development, leadership & succession planning
- Focus and ensure training for all the team members Team Induction/ IPMP /PDP
- Coach team for high morale, trust, work ethics and support teamwork, co- operations & performance excellence.
