Chief Engineer

Role Description

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations within the property. Primary responsibilities include leading and managing the engineering team, ensuring timely maintenance of facilities, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. The role requires efficient energy management, safety compliance, and coordination of repair activities to ensure smooth hotel operations while maintaining a high standard of facilities for guests

• Strong leadership, team management, and project management skills
• Knowledge of safety standards, compliance regulations, and risk management practices
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
• Proficiency in maintenance planning and preventive repair strategies
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Relevant certifications or a degree in engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in hospitality, facility management, or a similar industry is a plus
