About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Chief Digital Officer (CDO) to lead the organization's digital and technology transformation. The role focuses on aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, driving system integration, overseeing digital platforms, and enabling data-informed decision-making. The CDO will act as a bridge between business leadership, technology teams, and external partners to ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready digital systems.

Key Responsibilities

Digital & Technology Strategy

  • Define and execute the organization's digital and technology roadmap aligned with long-term business goals.
  • Identify emerging technologies, platforms, and digital trends that can enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Establish success metrics to track the impact and effectiveness of digital initiatives.

Business Alignment & Solution Design

  • Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements or replacements that are scalable, cost-effective, and secure.

System Integration & Platform Ownership

  • Lead the implementation and integration of enterprise systems, digital platforms, applications, and websites.
  • Ensure seamless interoperability between new and existing systems across the organization.
  • Oversee technology architecture and ensure reliability, performance, and security standards are met.

Project Oversight & Delivery

  • Provide strategic oversight for major technology and digital projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.
  • Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and consultants to manage dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
  • Ensure governance frameworks and best practices are followed across all technology initiatives.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
  • Oversee contracts, performance reviews, and value delivery from external partners.

Data & Analytics Enablement

  • Enable the use of analytics and reporting frameworks to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with analytics or data teams to ensure availability of reliable data, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Leverage insights from data to guide digital and technology strategy (without direct ownership of analytics delivery).

Leadership & Governance

  • Build and mentor a high-performing technology team.
  • Establish governance, security, and compliance standards across all digital and technology systems.
  • Act as a key advisor to leadership on digital capabilities and technology investments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, system integration, and digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology stacks, architectures, and platforms.
  • Proven experience managing vendors, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to analytics, BI, or data-driven decision-making environments.
  • Familiarity with dashboards, KPIs, and analytics tools (without being hands-on).
  • Experience working alongside analytics or data science teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile or modern project governance frameworks.
