Chief Design Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Design Engineer based in Rajkot. The Chief Design Engineer will lead the design and development of new products, oversee projects from concept to production, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring the design team, collaborating with cross-functional departments, creating and reviewing CAD drawings, and implementing innovative engineering solutions. The role also requires ensuring the integration of mechanical and electrical systems and maintaining technical documentation.

Qualifications

• M.Tech/BE
• Experience of 10/15 years in sheet metal or heavy machine tool industry
• Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design with a focus on innovation and functional excellence
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering for comprehensive product development
• Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and related software
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, oversee projects, and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in power press or precision machinery design
• Strong communication and leadership skills
