Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute Brand Equity's editorial strategy across print, digital, and events.
- Commission, edit, and oversee high-impact features, interviews, analysis pieces, and opinion columns.
- Drive compelling storytelling that blends business insight with cultural relevance.
- Lead and mentor reporters sharpening story ideas and maintaining high editorial standards.
- Build and leverage strong relationships with CMOs, agency heads, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.
- Bring a multimedia approach to content creation from long-form features to digital-first and social-native storytelling.
- Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and editorial quality across platforms.
- Identify emerging trends in marketing, advertising, media, and consumer behaviour.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in business journalism, marketing/advertising coverage, or brand-focused editorial roles.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, marketing ecosystems, and corporate storytelling.
- Proven experience in commissioning, editing, and mentoring teams.
- Ability to translate complex business insights into engaging narratives.
- Strong network within marketing, advertising, and corporate leadership circles.
- Digital-first mindset with comfort across multimedia formats.
- Excellent editorial judgment and leadership skills.
