Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chief Business Officer role based in Chennai. The Chief Business Officer will lead overall business strategy, drive growth initiatives, and oversee financial performance across the center's operations. Responsibilities include developing and executing long-term business plans, monitoring key performance metrics, and identifying new service lines or market opportunities. The role will coordinate closely with clinical and operational leaders to align business goals with high-quality patient care, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure financial sustainability. The Chief Business Officer will also build and mentor cross-functional teams, establish key partnerships, and support continuous improvement in processes, systems, and patient experience.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Finance expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and experience with financial controls and reporting.
- Proven experience in business development, including identifying growth opportunities, building partnerships, and expanding services or markets.
- Background in consulting or management consulting, with exposure to strategic planning, process improvement, and organizational change.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including team building, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical leaders, executives, and external partners.
- Experience in healthcare or fertility/IVF services is highly desirable, with an understanding of patient-centered care and regulatory considerations.
- Graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
