Job Role : Chief Business Officer – AI Consulting

Company: Stealth AI Startup (Well-funded)

Location: India (Hyderabad / Bangalore preferred)

About the Opportunity

We are a stealth-mode AI startup building a global AI Consulting business for enterprise customers.

We are looking for a Business Leader who will own and scale the entire AI Consulting vertical—working directly with founders to drive revenue, strategy, and execution.

This is a foundational leadership role with full accountability for building a high-growth consulting business from the ground up.

What You'll Own

  • Full P&L ownership of the AI Consulting business
  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy across global enterprise markets : India / Middle East / South East Asia.
  • Build and scale enterprise sales, pre-sales, and partnerships functions
  • Drive large deal closures with enterprise customers (multi-million dollar engagements)
  • Establish and expand strategic partnerships (SI partners, tech ecosystem, enterprise alliances)
  • Work closely with AI/Engineering leadership to align capabilities with market demand
  • Build, mentor, and scale high-performance teams across sales, solutions, and delivery
  • Identify high-value AI use cases across industries and convert them into scalable offerings
  • Represent the company in CXO-level discussions, industry forums, and key client engagements

What We're Looking For :

12–20 years of experience across:

  • Technology (early career foundation)
  • Enterprise Sales / Pre-sales
  • Partnerships / Alliances
  • Business Leadership with P&L ownership
  • Proven track record of building and scaling consulting or services businesses
  • Strong understanding of:
  • AI / Data / Analytics / Digital Transformation
  • Enterprise buying cycles and large deal structures
  • Demonstrated success in closing large enterprise deals and building long-term client relationships
  • Experience working with or competing against global consulting/SI firms
  • Ability to operate in 0→1 and 1→10 environments

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Started career as an engineer or in a technical role, with strong problem-solving foundations
  • Transitioned into client-facing roles (sales / pre-sales / consulting)
  • Has led cross-functional teams and owned revenue/business outcomes
  • Brings a strong network across enterprise clients and ecosystem partners
  • Combines strategic thinking with execution rigor
