This role will act as a bridge between business leadership and technology teams to unlock value through data-driven decision-making and intelligent automation.

Experience:

15+ years (with 5-8 years in AI/ML leadership roles)

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and lead the enterprise-wide AI vision, roadmap, and governance framework

  • Identify high-impact AI use cases aligned with business objectives

  • Partner with C-suite leaders to drive AI adoption across departments

2. AI & Data Transformation

  • Build and scale AI/ML capabilities across the organization

  • Lead initiatives in predictive analytics, generative AI, NLP, and automation

  • Drive data strategy in alignment with AI initiatives

3. Innovation & Implementation

  • Oversee design, development, and deployment of AI solutions

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate best-in-class AI tools

  • Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation

4. Governance, Risk & Ethics

  • Establish AI governance, compliance, and ethical standards

  • Ensure responsible AI practices including fairness, transparency, and security

  • Manage risks related to data privacy and AI deployment

5. Team Building & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and lead high-performing AI, data science, and engineering teams

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners

  • Mentor leadership teams on AI capabilities and opportunities

Key Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field

  • MBA or PhD preferred

Experience

  • 15+ years in technology/data roles with strong exposure to AI/ML

  • Proven track record of leading AI transformation initiatives

  • Experience in deploying AI at scale in enterprise environments

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI

  • Experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Data architecture, analytics, and big data ecosystem expertise

Leadership Skills

  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change

  • Strong communication and decision-making capabilities


Preferred Industry Experience

  • BFSI / Retail / Healthcare / Technology / Consulting (depending on client need)

Key Success Metrics (KPIs)

  • AI-driven revenue growth or cost optimization

  • Adoption rate of AI solutions across business units

  • Time-to-market for AI initiatives

  • ROI on AI investments

  • Data maturity and AI capability index
