Chief AI and Digital Officer

As part of this transformation journey, we are inviting Expressions of Interest for the role of Chief AI & Digital Officer.

This is a strategic leadership role with a mandate to shape the future of business transformation, operational excellence, and enterprise innovation at Vedanta. The role will work closely with business leadership to drive growth, productivity, digital modernization, and long-term value creation through AI and technology-led interventions.

We are looking for a high-potential leader who combines strong AI and digital expertise with business acumen, enterprise leadership capability, and transformation experience - someone who can evolve into a future business leader within Vedanta.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead Vedanta's AI, digital, and data transformation roadmap aligned to business and growth priorities
• Partner with business and functional leaders to drive enterprise-wide transformation and unlock measurable business impact
• Accelerate adoption of AI, GenAI, automation, advanced analytics, and intelligent platforms across businesses and operations
• Build scalable digital ecosystems, future-ready operating models, and strategic technology partnerships

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of experience across AI, digital transformation, technology strategy, or enterprise innovation roles
• Proven track record of driving large-scale business and digital transformation in diversified enterprises
• Strong understanding of AI/GenAI, data, automation, digital platforms, and intelligent operations
• Strong strategic orientation with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate technology interventions into business impact
