Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chess Instructor based in Bengaluru. The Chess Instructor will be responsible for coaching players of all levels and age groups, designing effective training programs, and fostering a love for the game. Daily tasks include delivering structured lessons, offering guidance on improving strategic and tactical skills, analyzing games, and preparing students for competitions and tournaments. The role involves creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help students achieve their goals in chess.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Chess, with a strong understanding of both strategy and tactics
- Experience in Teaching, Tutoring, or Training, with the ability to engage and mentor students
- Strong background in Mathematics for enhanced problem-solving and logical reasoning
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Previous competitive chess experience or coaching certifications are a plus
- Passion for promoting life skills through the game of chess
- Flexibility and adaptability to cater to a diverse range of learning needs
