About the Role

We are seeking a Chemistry SME with deep knowledge across Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry. You will annotate reaction mechanisms, validate chemical structures, classify reaction types, and review chemistry reasoning for accuracy and clarity in dataset creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate reaction mechanisms step by step and verify correctness.
• Validate chemical structures, intermediates, formulas, and reaction outcomes.
• Classify reaction types and identify mechanistic patterns across organic/inorganic domains.
• Review chemical explanations for clarity, accuracy, and conceptual understanding.
• Detect structural errors, incorrect conditions, or flawed mechanism logic.
• Produce gold-standard annotations and clean reasoning paths.

Skills & Experience Required

• BSc/MSc in Chemistry; competitive exam preparation is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of organic mechanisms, inorganic compounds, and physical chemistry principles.
• Ability to interpret diagrams, structures, electron flow, and laboratory concepts.
• Skilled in classifying reaction types and detecting errors in mechanisms, formulas, and logic.
• Chemistry Graduate with strong domain knowledge, able to parse diagrams, mechanisms, equations, and evaluate reasoning accuracy.
