Chemistry Masters – AI Data Trainer
About The Role
We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and improve the next generation of AI models. Your deep subject-matter knowledge will directly shape how AI understands, reasons through, and communicates complex chemistry — from undergraduate fundamentals to advanced graduate-level topics.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience is required — just a strong chemistry background and the ability to think and communicate clearly.

What You'll Do
- Design challenging, advanced chemistry problems that rigorously test AI performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and more
- Develop clear, detailed, step-by-step solutions with sound scientific reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks and evaluation criteria spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry
- Provide structured written feedback that helps improve AI outputs over time
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and rigor
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with large language models or AI research workflows
- Background spanning multiple chemistry subdisciplines
