Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining the boiler feed and steam parameters as per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendation.
- Ensure accurate sampling and testing of coal quality.
- Ensure the proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for handling the hazardous chemicals.
- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of membrane as per design.
- Maintaining database for analysis of coal testing results, yard losses, etc.
- Ensure production of demineralized water as per specified quality limits.
- Responsible for treatment of all the effluents to achieve and maintain the zero liquid discharge.
- Ensure up-keeping of all sophisticated equipment used in water and coal testing.
- Responsible for testing of lubricating oil used in various equipments of the plant
- Maintaining of condensate cooling system water as per recommended treatment program.
- Responsible for testing of received and feed coal sample.
- Ensure the quality of raw/ input chemical used in thermal power plant as per the specified standard.
- Responsible for testing of LDO/HFO oil.
- Providing new updates on power plant corrosion chemistry.
- Knowledge sharing- keep up with the developments in the outer environment.
