Chemist - Fatty Acid

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Control & Analysis

Conduct and oversee analytical testing for oils, fatty acids, DIA, soap noodles, and finished goods.

Ensure accuracy and consistency in all QC processes.

2. Process Improvement & Yield Enhancement

Provide technical oversight to reduce production losses and enhance fatty acid yield.

Work closely with production teams to identify and eliminate off-spec batches.

Lead initiatives to minimize QC deviations and reduce rework.

3. SAP Documentation & Data Management

Maintain accurate SAP records for production and QC data.

Ensure timely and error-free documentation.

4. Technical Support & Guidance

Offer technical guidance to plant production and QC teams.

Support troubleshooting of process chemistry and QC-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Oleo MSC (minimum)

- 712 years in fatty acid plant QC

- Strong knowledge of process chemistry

- Analytical expertise
