Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef Trainer, based in Bangalore. The Chef Trainer will be responsible for training and mentoring home cooks to ensure high culinary standards across the services. Daily tasks include developing and conducting training sessions, assessing cooks skills, providing feedback, and ensuring that customers expectations for food, hygiene, and professionalism are met.

Qualifications

  • Culinary expertise, recipe development, and food plating skills
  • Strong knowledge of the major regional foods of India- Delhi/ Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, UP, Bihar/ Jharkhand, West Bengal/ Odisha.
  • Strong knowledge of popular Indian-Chinese, Continental and Cantonese dishes
  • 3-7 years of experience in staff training, mentoring, and skill assessment
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
  • Understanding of food safety regulations, kitchen operations, and hygiene standards
  • Passion for culinary arts and staying current with emerging food trends
  • Certification or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
  • Proven track record in a chef leadership or training role is a strong advantage
