Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Chef De Partie specializing in western cuisine. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring all food items are prepared in accordance with the restaurant's standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing kitchen staff, maintaining kitchen hygiene, overseeing inventory, and ensuring consistent quality in food preparation and presentation. Collaboration with other kitchen staff to create menu items and improve culinary offerings is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Culinary skills including knowledge of Western cuisine and food preparation techniques
- Proficiency in kitchen management, including inventory control and staff supervision
- Experience in maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Relevant culinary education or certification
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
